The mission of SPOKE is to use art to transform communities and drive social progress across Greater Boston. We work alongside artists to create public works that address some of the most crushing challenges of our time – from HIV/AIDS, addiction, gun violence, racism, homophobia and suicide to the fragile relationship between too many youths and the police. SPOKE is sparking courageous conversations and giving voice to generations cloaked in anger, hopelessness and despair. Our work is breaking down barriers and transcending words.

Come celebrate who we are for ourselves and who we can be for each other at Mardi Gras: a threshold to a room where we all belong!
